TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: July 18, 2026
Agreement
By purchasing, downloading, or using Kyte (the macOS app, the Chrome extension, or any related services), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Kyte.
These terms apply to the software and services provided by Kyte, operated by [Legal entity name], contactable at buildkyte@gmail.com.
License grant
Mac app (paid)
When you purchase the Kyte Mac app, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the software on devices you own or control. This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The license is perpetual (it does not expire), but it does not entitle you to future major versions (if released) or guaranteed updates.
You may install the Mac app on multiple devices you personally own (for example, a home Mac and a work MacBook). You may not share your license key with others, resell it, or use it in a commercial setting where multiple users would access the software under a single license.
Chrome extension (free)
The Kyte Chrome extension is provided free of charge. You may install and use it on any device. No license key is required. The extension is provided as-is, with no warranty or guarantee of future updates.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Kyte in compliance with all applicable laws. You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
- Remove or alter copyright notices or branding.
- Use the software to violate the rights of others or to engage in illegal activity.
- Distribute modified versions of the software.
- Use the software in a way that harms our infrastructure or other users (for example, by attempting to access our servers in unauthorized ways).
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Kyte is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kyte and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the software. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of productivity, or business interruption.
In no event will our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the software (or zero, if you are using the free Chrome extension).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Refunds and cancellation
For information on refunds, see our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Termination
We may terminate your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the software and delete all copies. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue to apply.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Kyte will be resolved in the courts of India. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of Kyte after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
